Mario was excited about his date with Princess Peach. He brought flowers and got all dressed up. When she answered the door though, she looked a bit different. A bit spikier. She also had a snaggletooth. "You're late ya bozo!" she barked at him.
Mario couldn't put his finger on exactly what was up. She was looking and behaving strangely, but she assured him it was all about getting into character for the costume party they were going to. Apparently, Mario got a bit mixed up, thinking it was "dressing fancy" as opposed to "fancy dress".
They got to the disco where the party was, which was where Bowser's castle was in Dinosaur Land. Mario was starting to get suspicious, especially with all the baddies around, but she assured him it was just other party goers in costume.
"Mario it's a trap!" a voice called out. Mario jumped out of the way just in time. The real Princess Peach showed up and whacked the fake princess until the Super Crown flew off her head, changing her back from Bowsette into Bowser. "Gyaahhhh! Curse you!" he roared. Peach grabbed Mario's hand and they both ran out of the castle.
Later on they went on a date that was much more romantic, eating spaghetti from the same bowl and their lips connecting together as they ate. Much more romantic!
