Mario and Goku were captured by Fawful! He had absorbed the great power of the Ice guardians on Icy Ice Island and used his new power to enhance his own body to become unstoppable. Bowser and Peach were battered and bruised from battle. Fawful was powering up an icy attack. What hope had they now?
Suddenly Goku yelled out at them to remember fusion training. It was their only hope! Bowser and Peach looked at each other and hesitated. But they had no choice. They got into position.
"Fuuuuuuu... sionnnnn... HA!"
A bright light flashed and out emerged the fusion of Bowser and Peach, Bowsette! She stood and grinned with her sharp teeth.
"Ice to be meeting you!" said Fawful, "but now iced you will be!".
Bowsette snarled at the bad Batman joke and flames erupted around her. She unleashed her power and Fawful became a puddle with glasses. She also set Mario and Goku free.
"Hooray!" they all cheered. Just then Bowsette looked at Mario and grabbed him to give him a big kiss...
However, just before her lips touched Mario's, Bowsette split up into Bowser and Peach again. "UGH!" said Bowser in disgust "I can't believe that almost happened! BLECH!" he bellowed and ran away. Peach blushed. It wasn't like her at all and they wondered what part of Bowsette wanted to grab Mario to kiss him.
Just then, Peach grabbed Mario anyway and gave him a big kiss. "WHOAAAA!" said Goku, "I guess the fusion hasn't worn off yet!
