My girlfriend and I wanted to go to this concert but the tickets were sold out. She said she had an idea and took out her phone, taping and swiping rapidly at the screen. I didn't know social media like she did, so what I was about to see was magic.
She started a rumour online that there was an unbelievable storm coming with high chance of devastation. People were cancelling left and right and we even had people come up to us, offering their tickets for next to nothing and eventually for nothing. I never saw anything like it. She gave me a wink and I just looked at her in awe.
We got to the concert venue and almost no one was there but the most dedicated fans like us. Our favourite band played some and enjoyed the low-key crowd so much that they hung out with us and we had a nice chat for a while too. It was the best concert ever.
