I was getting the train as usual, but this time I had my girlfriend with me. I thought it was going to be an ordinary and boring journey, but I was very wrong.
My girlfriend had never been on a train before and she found it very exciting. She kept looking all around her like a bird. Every stop she would listen attentively to the voice over and every time there was a tunnel she would hold her breath and make a wish. Whenever we went through a tunnel she would hold her breath and make a wish. There were many tunnels and so she eventually stopped. But she was like an excited little girl on the train that day.
She told me about all the games and cartoons she enjoyed that had levels and scenes that took place on a train. She told me about the jolly music that played in Mega Man 5 and Wario Land's train levels and the bunny ballerinas from McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure's train level. She whipped out a small handheld computer that played old games and showed them to me by restoring save states. She took a train journey right to my heart.
