I took the bus to my girlfriend's place. On the way there, whenever someone pressed the STOP button, a horrible beep would emit out a tiny speaker in the back of the bus.
I told the bus driver about it but he gave me cheek, saying it didn't affect him at all so it didn't matter. I told my girlfriend about it when I got to her place. She got that look in her eyes whenever she got a crazy idea and I was a bit worried what I was in for.
She looked at the video I recorded of it on my phone and she immediately ran to her box of tools. I saw her take stuff out like screwdrivers and sharp instruments. She then said "Let's go!" and took me by the hand.
We got on the bus and sat near the offending noise. She gave me some instructions on using a device that disabled the security cameras for a few minutes. I carried it out and she immediately got to work. She ripped out the horrible speaker and finished the job in just a few minutes. The whole thing went so fast that no one noticed.
Bus rides become infinitely more pleasurable after that. The STOP button still worked and there was no pointlessly horrible beeping speaker harassing fare paying customers anymore. I took my girlfriend out for a meal after that.
