October was now here and my girlfriend was excited. I was watching an online video and she burst into the room saying "Let's go DVD shopping!" I was like "Okay..." and checked what year it was before we went out.
We took the bus into town. We navigated around all the tattoo and vape shops and other places that had closed down completely. We finally found some second hand shops and discount stores and the toy store that had DVDs. They brought in special horror themed ones for the season. The toy store had stuff like Scooby-Doo! meets Batman.
Honestly, we found some really cool stuff. We talked about movies we had seen and hadn't seen. When there were must-see movies either of us didn't see, we just had to buy it right then and there.
We came back from town on the bus, bags full of DVDs. We got home and had a mad monster marathon of movies, all snuggled up on the couch with each other.
