476 Dystopian No Love Future

I unplugged the TV and put it in the closet. I couldn't take it anymore. The news was reporting yet another story about how "evil" men were. Then it would be a movie about the evil man, a programme about another evil man and the weather report, where it was gonna be raining evil men. I decided to go outside.

I got nervous around people. Being told I wasn't to expect anything of anyone and that if I got accused of anything, I was supposed to just not defend myself.

I met a for real human being, a lady at that and she was friendly, civil and seemed happy to see me. I was stunned. It went against everything the TV was telling me.

After chatting with her for a while, the nice lady asked me to join her for some lunch. I was floored. It went against everything I was being told on the internet. When I snapped out of it I went to lunch with her. The food was delicious and her company even more so. Maybe it wasn't as bad as I thought.
