I chased the monster who kidnapped the princess all the way to the moon. With his magic he turned his lair into a church and everyone who entered it into wedding guests. When I went inside my overalls turned into a top hat and tails. It looked weird and tacky and made no sense whatsoever except for melodrama and maybe to sell merchandise. In any case I wasn't going to let this wedding happen.
I confronted the monster at the altar and defeated him, freeing the princess from his clutches. Bam.
The princess looked beautiful in a wedding dress but she looked beautiful in any dress. She looked at me, held my hands and gave me a grateful kiss on the nose. Just then our clothes transformed into our normal clothes. The princess was glad and said we could now go home, now that everything was back to normal. Then she paused and put her arm around me. "...let's stay here a while first".
We stayed on the moon for a while in each other's arms, looking at the cosmos and at our home in the distance. This was a lovely way to celebrate the end of our adventure.
