Sometimes people get misfiled by accident without any malice behind it. This happened to me and it was like I was erased from existence. Thankfully I wasn't erased from being my girlfriend's boyfriend and she was able to help.
She got hired by the crowd who was overlooking the two departments who misfiled me. She was able to bypass the jungle of being put on telephone hold and getting stuck in the Catch-22 where I found myself. She eventually found the departments who misfiled me and my file. It was used to prop something up. She quickly fixed it and my life went back to normal again. That solid icy block of anxiety melted. My girlfriend made the two administrators responsible to use blow driers to melt the ice. Then she made them apologise profusely, compensate me for my loss and inconvenience, and then kiss me. She smiled as they did it. I was so glad things were back to normal again.
