"You've got good genes." she said, squeezing my cheeks with her coarse hands, "You'd make some good, strong babies that would survive when SHTF."
Why couldn't I get a seat next to one of the normal girls in school?
"Will you stop saying that?" I said to her, "I have to concentrate on the lesson!"
"A woman knows these things!" was how she responded. "Besides, you don't wanna waste your time on this dumb lesson anyway. It's all propaganda."
"It's math!" I said to her.
"Oh it's in there. You'll see it if you come to my place after school. My mom taught me sums like these when I was like, 10."
Another invitation. I thought about it. I did need help with this subject, and she was always telling me how great her mom was at teaching this stuff. I took her up on her offer. She leaped for joy and hugged me tightly.
After school we went to her house. She introduced me to her mom, who honestly looked like she could've been her sister. When I said hi, her mom promptly grabbed my cheeks with her coarse hands and said "You've got good genes."
