I stood with my girlfriend in front of the building. All we had were baseball bats and anger. We held hands and kissed one last time before we took the first swing at the window.
It smashed into bits and the corporation logo was now defaced and vanished. That was only the beginning. We ran inside and didn't stop running and swinging.
Motivational portraits saying "work sets you free"? Smashed.
Decorative plant pots? Crashed.
Computers, stacks of paperwork, security systems... smash, crash, boom bash. We broke everything around us on our run through of the building and we didn't stop running.
We knocked the fancy plaque of the boss down and broke the office door in. We swung for our lives, swung for everything the corporation took from us, swung for the children we couldn't afford to have, swung at the boss' fat greedy face all consuming, now only consuming the ends of our bats.
After our smashing spree we ran out the building and to freedom, ready to begin our lives properly. We held hands again and ran into the sunset.
