I was happy enough going to public libraries because I always found the classics there, but my girlfriend always told me about the library her family had in their house.
Why did a family have a library anyway? She told me it was much better than this one because there was stuff that was banned in public libraries, stuff the government didn't want you to see.
She eventually convinced me to check it out. I was very interested in learning so the thought of seeing it excited me anyway.
There was all kinds of stuff there. Uncensored cartoons, politically sensitive material that would shake anyone's belief in the establishment and stuff that explained various conspiracy theories. There was one book that was unlike the rest though. She took it off the shelf and handed it to me.
I took a flick through the book. The contents were... interesting to say the least. Reading it had a profound effect on me. Suddenly, so much seemed so clear. You wouldn't see anything like this anywhere!
I looked at my girlfriend, who had already taken off her dress and underwear. I smiled and nodded, letting her know I now knew. Oh how I knew!
Five years later and we had 10 children with more on the way. This book was banned for a reason!
