It was one of those long distance relationship things but we made it work. My girlfriend lived in a far off town but I managed to make a base with some support from one of my friends.
Because of how far away it was, I could only spend a few hours with my girlfriend before I had to leave for home again. She still lived at home and her family was strict about that kind of thing. My friend was a saint to put me up like this too.
"When are you coming to town? I miss u" my girlfriend would text me now and again. Time to hit the road!
