One of the more unusual date meetings suggested to me was in a car park. This girl didn't sound like she was joking but I thought it was nice and quirky, so I went along with it.
The car park itself was huge and empty. I was starting to think something was up but there she was, and she had some astronomy equipment next to her.
She gave me a hug when I arrived and I then noticed that the sky was more full of stars than I had ever seen it. She said it was a perfect dark spot for spotting stars.
We huddled around her telescope, taking turns looking at the various stars in the sky. She also had some hot soup to share with me throughout the evening. We stayed long into the night.
Whenever I have that soup nowadays it makes me think of that lovely date.
