It became a popular but dangerous trend for girls to ruin the lives of men simply by pointing a finger to ruin their lives and in turn get loads of attention for themselves.
They would point their finger at a stranger, a guy who didn't give them the time of day, a guy they simply didn't want to look at... many kinds of men. Those men would then be branded sex offenders.
This became an epidemic. Many innocent men had their lives ruined and in turn this ruined the lives of women who depended on these good men. One by one these women got closer to the gang of girls who were doing this and one day they eventually caught them.
The women then grabbed these girls by the wrists, held them down and chopped off their fingers, hands and arms. After this, no man got the evil finger ever again.
