It was the middle of the night and I couldn't sleep. I had a stuffy nose and a dry mouth and I couldn't breathe the way I wanted to. It was frustrating and lonely. Suddenly I got a text from my girlfriend. "Made extra curry. Want some?". I immediately responded "yes".
She arrived eventually and knocked on the door and I opened it to her. It was a cloudy, cold night. She gave me a hug and a kiss, brushing my cheek with sympathy. Then she immediately got the curry ready to eat.
I tried it and my sinuses went on fire. My eyes and nostrils started pouring water. I never tasted anything like it. It was so tasty, yet so intense. Within moments my sinuses cleared and I was able to breathe through my nose again. I was so happy I gave my girlfriend a big kiss. She hugged me tightly.
