528 Racquetball Girl

When I got on in years I would walk past the old racquetball court. There wasn't any life in the place until recently, when I suddenly started hearing activity in there while on my walks. I met a pretty girl in there once when I was younger. One evening, I decided to visit old memories.

I heard the place was going to be torn down and made into an art gallery. I heard someone protested and won, keeping the place intact. Good on them. We didn't need an even bigger art gallery than we already had.

I went inside and a lot was changed. The viewing gallery now had a protective pane in front of it. I looked down and there, down in the play area, was the girl I knew from so many years ago.

She recognised me and smiled. She came up to me. It was quiet in that old racquetball alley that day, where two lovers caught up with each other and decided to hang around a lot more.
