541 A Nightwalk on Christmas Eve

I was at home with my family and everyone was getting distracted or falling asleep. I didn't have a lot to do and the dog was looking at me as if it wanted to go outside, so I decided to take it out for a walk.

I had stuff to think about. It was quiet. Shops were closed early. I was single and alone and it was Christmas. Well, I had my four legged buddy by my side, but I didn't have a two legged female one.

I left my thoughts and dreams and wishes get lost in the darkness and I felt sad. I thought maybe someday.

Suddenly the dog started growling. I told it to relax, it was probably just a reindeer or something! In actual fact it wasn't a reindeer, but it was a dog wearing reindeer horns. The dog had its owner with them, a beautiful girl I grew up with. She recognised me and gave me a hug and kiss. We had a long chat about our lives. She said she had to get out of the house too. We spent quite a bit of time chatting and catching up... and got a few more kisses in there too!
