I spent many years alone when one day, it was announced that an actor I hadn't seen in a long time was putting on a show with a character he hadn't used in a long time. Memories came flooding back, including ones of an old sweetheart of mine.
She loved his characters and so did I. Things were never the same when the actor stepped out of the limelight for a while.
I went to his show. He became his character for the first time in years and he was brilliant. I was delighted apart from not having my sweetheart by my side anymore.
Just then I saw her. She saw me too. She was back! And she was at this show! We came together and reminisced and got together, enjoying the memories and characters all over again. We talked about feelings and about our lives and how we wanted to connect once again... and we did.
