After a long and thirsty journey I came across two shops side by side that sold cold drinks. I noticed the people who were going into the bigger shop with the massive banners were smiling, whereas the people who were going into the old fashioned and more humble shop were frowning.
I chose the big shop. "You alright there?" I immediately heard a cold hoarse voice. It was the shop assistant. She was showing all her teeth in what I imagine was an attempt at a smile of greeting, but it was a very cold, harsh one.
I bought a fizzy cola. I drank it very quickly as I was parched. I felt good and refreshed at first, but then I got this weird aftertaste. It wouldn't really go away either. I walked out the exit and looked behind me. I noticed that the people who were coming out of this shop were frowning and that the people who were coming out of the smaller shop were smiling happily. It was the exact opposite as before! Taken with curiosity, I decided to go around the buildings to the entrances again and try out the small shop this time.
On entering the small shop I was greeted by the most beautiful warm smile. "Hiya! Come in and make yourself at home!" the shop assistant chirped. I immediately felt good and stayed feeling good. She had the kind of smile that melted your heart and her kind eyes made you feel like you were a good friend of hers. She had soft, pillowy lips, which added to the feelgoodness of her smile.
I bought a fizzy cola here. I wasn't as parched but I still drank it quickly as it tasted amazing! I also felt even more refreshed than I did in the other place. No wonder people were smiling when they walked out of here. The other place was all fake and artificial, but here it was the real thing!
