240 My Happypunk Girlfriend

When I was a teenager I got the blues a lot. I talked to a lot of people who offered different answers. Some insisted work made you happy, others insisted it was drugs. I eventually ran out of people to ask so I just went on searching for the answers within.

Then I saw her face. She had big sad droopy eyes but there was a liveliness in them that was mysterious and attractive. She didn't speak much but when she picked up a guitar, it seemed like she became alive.

I'll never forget the first time I saw her play. The music she was playing really blew my mind. It was love at first sight!

After her performance I caught up with her and I realised who she was. She was one of the quieter girls from my class. Because of her droopy eyes I didn't think of asking her about the secret to happiness... she had it all along in her music!

We got talking. We learned each other's names. I said her music made me very happy. She said I made her happy... and then we became inseparable and grew in happiness together from then on.
