My girlfriend was a little strange. She told me everyday she didn't want to have babies. She looked like she could produce beautiful offspring and she went and got pregnant with me anyway.
Her quip then was to say "I totally don't want to have more babies!" but she didn't uphold that either, having more of them with me.
Then she said "I'm serious! No more now!" before we had even more kids.
It was pretty strange! She would say she didn't want them, but when we got together I couldn't stop her from having them. She would throw away any condoms I had. Whenever I tried to bring it up she would just say "sshhhhh" and have her way with me.
I guess it was a front of some kind. Even today she doesn't regret a single moment of motherhood and will always plan for the next one while at the same time insisting she isn't. It took half a dozen boys and girls for me to realise this but I think I'm catching on! I think...
