Women weren't allowed to join the club. I don't know why that rule was in place though and I didn't hang out with many women, so I didn't know how they felt about it.
One day someone new joined the club. He was very friendly, which was nice. We had loads in common as well so we had lots to talk about. Things went very well for a while.
Then he kissed me, which surprised me a lot. I didn't know what to say or think. Then he revealed himself as herself. She said she desperately wanted to get to know me and joining this club in disguise was the only way she could get close to me.
We talked about it for a while. After that we continued our friendship and got closer. The club became a different thing eventually as well. People were now able to join regardless of gender.
