"Good luck" the bus driver said as he let me off in the middle of the ruined city. He didn't understand why I wanted to get off here. I thanked him and made my way towards the entrance to the underground city, where many people fled. My girlfriend lived down here.
She gave me a big hug when I got down and we walked hand in hand through the underground city. It was full of life and very peaceful down here.
We went grocery shopping where we bought lots of food that was of much higher quality and much cheaper than it was above ground, we went for a meal which was much cheaper and tastier and filling and healthier than what you'd get in restaurants above ground and we also went to the cinema, where we watched the latest romance exploitation movie called "Big Breasted Beauty Sleeps With Shy Boy 7". It was so good I nearly made a mess of myself, but my girlfriend was there to take care of me.
We went home to her place, which had a great view of the underground city. We had a cuddle at the view. I had to go home to the surface soon but at this moment, I was happy right here.
