653 Risking Lockdown Patrol to get Spicy Food

My girlfriend and I liked the local food but a few weeks after the quarantine ordinance we started to long for the spicy stuff we could only get from the city. We left the house, avoided the roads and took a route through the wilderness.

We travelled alongside the road obviously, but whenever we saw the cops we had to duck down and crawl through the overgrowth.

At several points we could hear conversation. We heard cops barking at frightened motorists.

"Where are your papers?!"
"H..H...here they are, o-o-officer"

The poor scared motorist sounded familiar somehow. We continued while the distraction was going on.

We finally reached the city and the shop that sold the spicy food we loved so much. We got what we wanted and made the journey back, this time going over mountains.

From high up we could see several checkpoints where the cops were staked out. It was quite a sight.

We got home safely.
