779 The Father Party

The country was in chaos and it was election time. The establishment parties clung desperately for power but were ultimately toppled by the people's vote. Many new parties sprung up but one rose to prominence and won all the seats in government. They were called The Father Party.
Consisting entirely of men, they introduced radical measures that saved the country and its people.

One of the most significant was the banning of all male immigrants. Female immigrants were allowed but only ones that were of breeding age. They were incentivised to start families with the indigenous male population. The indigenous females, who were previously worshipped, were dethroned and had competition for the first time in the nation's history.

Another was the establishment of an Unconditional Basic Income for nation's male citizens. This gave them the means to start a family if they wished and to work on projects that added to the prosperity of society and culture, creating a rich civilisation. The family unit was saved and the population was happier, healthier and wealthier. People felt safer and freer too.
