Somewhere else, teachers and other students tried to open doors and found them locked. Other people didn't even reach the school because of flat tyres, food poisoning or simply because their house was on fire for some reason. Everything was in place and all that was left to do was to appear in front of her by chance.
When I did, our eyes met and her expression changed from one of sadness to surprise and excitement. Her face flushed as she said hi to me. I smiled and talked along with her.
We never spoke before because there was always some stupid distraction. With time travel I was able to get silly stuff like teachers and other students out of the way. I was able to destroy regimented groups and cliques. Now it was just a girl and boy talking.
"To be honest, I can't believe we're actually talking. Would you like to go out with me?" she said. I gladly accepted and we hugged. Hugs were something that just didn't happen in our school but that was all changed now.
I took a look at the suicide note she wrote in the future, talking about a broken heart. It faded away and became filled with love hearts and doodles instead, turning her from a death of despair to a normal girl who daydreamed of love.
