I was unlucky enough to be one of the demographics that were urged to stay inside and not make physical contact with anyone during the pandemic. I said goodbye to all my girlfriends and went in home.
They refused to leave me on my own though. I talked with them on the phone and over internet conference video every moment of every day. They often left me parcels of food and presents. They even took their phone camera around the shops and I was able to do shopping that way.
They were there for me and I was there for them too. They got very lonely and I was only too happy to stay online with them.
