I stood on the strange platform and void was everywhere else. My girlfriend waved at me to follow and I did. It was very nerve wracking.
She took my hand and I followed slowly. She was much more confident at this than I was and I felt safer holding her hand. We climbed across narrow platforms and we eventually got to a gate with some strange waves in the gateway.
My girlfriend said we had to go through this individually. She let go of my hand and jumped through the gate. She wasn't on a platform anymore, but she floated briefly before jetting straight up into the air.
I was alone. I didn't want to stay but I was having trouble moving. Anxious to be with her again, I leaped through the gate. I felt something strange and I had no ground underneath me. I wriggled in the air and I was terrified.
Suddenly I shot up in the air at high speed. The platform below disappeared into the distance. I looked up and another platform was approaching fast. When I got there I landed on solid ground again. Then I felt my girlfriend's arms around me in a hug. "Congratulations, babe!" she said.
