The "Exploitation Romance" genre solved the male suicide crisis. Even men who weren't at risk of suicide stopped killing themselves with work. Thanks to these movies, culture was influenced enough to make men's lives better. Society stopped expecting men to work so much for so little in return. Society stopped calling men toxic.
It was a typical evening. I decided to go to the movies. The latest busty girl comedy was out and it starred one of my favourite actresses. It was 70 minutes long and it was an absolute delight. It was funny, charming, the leading lady was the best girlfriend ever and I had a spring in my step when I left the cinema.
The most popular Halloween costume that year was to dress up as this girl and act like the best girlfriend ever. If you had a girl like that on your arm, it became a fun meme for another girl that looked like that to go on your other arm. The girls would then show the guy the night of his life.
Girls like that chased me along the street on the way home from the cinema. I didn't want to run away from them but I had to catch a bus. It was a dark evening when I boarded the bus but I was still able to see the sad girls waving at me. I waved back at them and felt a bit lonely as the bus headed for the quiet country roads home. Another girl sitting nearby smiled at me and introduced herself to me, just like in the movie. It wasn't such a lonely trip home after all.
