I was the only boy in our class. I already had a girlfriend but my other classmates called themselves my girlfriends too. They treated me very well but on National Boyfriend Day they really spoiled me.
They interrupted the first class with a special breakfast. The teacher looked bewildered as the girls served me a full breakfast on my desk with crispy bacon, eggs, orange juice... all kinds of goodies.
Afterwards was a crowning ceremony and performances of many kinds, like dancing and recitations of love poems. Each of them wrote some lovely verses on how much I meant to all of them. It was very sweet and touching.
Then we watched movies for the rest of the afternoon. All we had was the school TV on a trolley with the VHS player, but the girls were well organised. They managed to find lots of movies from the 80s and 90s on VHS tapes and brought them all in. I had a good choice from some of the best comedies ever made.
They brought in loads of snacks while we enjoyed ourselves watching movies. We even got to have naps together in a big pile. This was the one day at school I didn't want be over!
