845 Chips and Lasagne

I fell in love with a girl who enriched my life, who made every day like the tastiest meal ever. She was also able to absolutely nail the perfect lasagne.

Not too much sauce or beef mince is the key, yet so many people get lasagne wrong. She got the balance right. Our love of eating chips with lasagne upset our families though, so it was like a Romeo and Juliet situation was going on.

My family didn't consider lasagne a "real dinner" and her family turned their nose up at the idea of mixing chips with it.

Lasagne and chips then became our special thing to do together and we used to do what looked like eloping, but in reality we just wanted to eat lasagne and chips together.

By the time we had children together we were using lots of garlic bread as well. Lasagne and chips and garlic bread was a big favourite in our new family's household.
