I wasn't a Trekkie, but my girlfriend was. I had only seen the first season of the first series, but that was all about to change when I met her.
She had that adorable nerd girl look. Big glasses, braces, freckles, pigtails, red hair, really tall and slender, didn't know how extremely hot she was... and quiet when she wasn't talking about Star Trek. Whenever things got quiet, I would mention something about Star Trek and she would talk excitedly about something that happened in an exact episode of an exact season.
Whenever we made love she would still talk about Star Trek. In fact, I don't remember who talked whom into the sack, but since we started going out, it was always her. She would sneak in subtleties and references from episodes. Every time we made love it was another world of wonder, another frontier. I was always bewildered from the obscure references but that was all part of the buzz! Part of the experience! To boldly go where... you know the rest :)
