It hadn't been a good winter. It was grey, dark, very gloomy, wet, windy, and cold. By the time the snow came I had enough already. I had to go for a walk to deal with the cabin fever.
Not many people were out this day because of the snow. I met one person however. She had a lovely round smiling face that reminded me of summer. She greeted me warmly and we had a chat for a while.
Suddenly the winter felt less cold and more comfortable. The more time we spent together chatting, the more the snow seemed to melt away, at least in my mind. I had nice warm feelings inside, feelings that reminded me of summer, of enjoying life to the fullest again. I felt revived, healthy and happy, all thanks to her smile.
