My mother told my girlfriend she couldn't visit for cuddles because I had to do my homework. It sucked but it had to be so because I wasn't getting stuff done. I locked myself in my room studying. Summer had come so I was dealing with the heavy, sweaty heat. My poor girlfriend often called me out to the balcony and asked me to let her in. With sweaty sadness I had to turn her away every time. She tried using a ladder at one point but my mother caught her and sent her packing.
One day it was windy. It was much easier to study and the sound of wind rustling through the new leaves on the trees outside was comfy. My room still got warm so I would go out to my balcony every now and again to close my eyes and feel the wind on my face.
I looked at the birds as they struggled to fly against the wind. It was pretty amusing and it was a nice break from looking at text dense books. One of them however, looked a lot bigger than the other birds. It was getting closer too...
I looked at this bird for a while. It got clearer and bigger as it got closer. Then it didn't look big at all. Then it looked like my girlfriend! She was on some kind of hang glider!
She glided on to my balcony at top speed and I ran inside. She ran in after me and tackled me onto my bed, cuddling and squeezing me tightly. She gave me smooches all over my face. Her nose was cold from flying through the air. I gave in to her and we stayed like this for a while. I missed her so much.
