When fast food places opened again, my girlfriend and I went to them and loved being able to eat the yummy food again! One thing we didn't miss though were the condiments in sachets. We were so used to using bottles at home that we decided to bring them with us.
It was great being able to have as much ketchup or as much sea salt or malt vinegar as we wanted. The smell was strong and we could see other people visibly drool. Soon, they were asking us to pass the bottle, which was okay, but our supply went down fast. On top of that, the fast food places didn't want us bringing our own condiments.
Why did the places with the nicest food have to be so strict on this? We had to be sneaky.
We would smuggle the malt vinegar and ketchup bottles in and spread it on our food under the table, out of sight. We would also usually camp out at a booth that was more hidden than other booths in the restaurant. Somehow this also made the food more tasty, like we were disregarding the opinions of others and did what we wanted to do anyway. Our kisses felt more exciting too. We were like some kind of Bonnie & Clyde, some renegade couple!
