When the cinemas reopened, my girlfriend and I went out to our favourite cinema and thanked god it was still alive. We were greeted by the staff who knew us and we were all glad to see each other.
We got our tickets and for snacks they said "the usual?" and we said of course! We got our Coca-Cola Classics, popcorn and Maltesers.
We went in to the screening early. We had to prepare. We emptied the bag of Maltesers into the popcorn and mixed them around. We were a little out of practice but we got it down pat!
The salty chocolatey malty honeycombey snack was like a warm hug and welcome home. We were at the movies again.
