380 Condiment Sachets Cost Extra

On our travels, my girlfriend and I got very hungry and had to stop somewhere to eat. It was a pokey little café with uncomfortable seats that were too close together, but we were starving and stopped for a bite anyway.
We took a tray each and navigated the horrible prison-like cafeteria where they kept food in tubs. It was confusing and exhausting to navigate and already I was losing my appetite. We had to serve ourselves by using tongs and ladles to fish out our food.

The sour faced middle aged lady at the till charged us and the prices were very high. We were so hungry we paid anyway. The food looked dry so I asked for some ketchup and the lady said each sachet costs extra.

I said "No thanks" and we walked to our table. We could hear the lady muttering something about "the cheek" of someone just expecting ketchup for free.

I stirred my food in frustration. I had a load of it stuck in my throat and it was too dry to swallow all the way down. I was also running out of soda, which I had drank in a desperate attempt to swallow what I had already eaten.

My girlfriend then took out a big bottle of ketchup from her bag. I was so happy I kissed her and cried! I squeezed out some ketchup and my meal was improved immensely! She was happy too and enjoyed some ketchup herself.

The awful lady at the till complained to her coworkers about us being cheap in a too-loud passive-aggressive voice, making sure we could hear. We were too hungry to engage with her and we ate the rest of our meal.

As we were walking out, the lady said "I'll take that bottle of ketchup!" with her hand out and we stopped. My girlfriend walked back to her and took a bottle of ketchup out of her bag. She smashed the bottle in the lady's face, making her scream in pain and covering her in ketchup and blood. She took it alright.

We fled the scene back to my girlfriend's car. She drove us far far away, into the sunset. We got away with it.

It was a wonderful evening. I have no idea why my girlfriend had both plastic and glass bottles of ketchup in her bag, but I was glad she did.
