It was dangerous times, especially with this heat. I nodded nervously when my girlfriend suggested going to town for ice cream. I was nervous because this nice weather brought out all kinds of crazies.
They all hung out in the town too, barking random stuff at people. We just wanted ice cream...
We eventually found a place. It was very quiet because it was expensive "gelato" style stuff. We had a tiny portion of ice cream each for top dollar. We enjoyed it in peace, though the price did affect our enjoyment of it.
Then it was back out to the crazies on our way home. It... wasn't worth it, but at least we were together.
