My girlfriend didn't have a mobile phone. Never did. It was something her parents were against. They taught her many other different kinds of things about technology though. Stuff I couldn't believe.
One day she took out a device with a screen in front of me and started swiping at it. I gasped. Had she changed her mind about mobile phones? Then I realised it was a tablet computer.
"What kind of pizza would you like?" she said, bringing up a menu from my favourite pizza place.
"Well uh... we don't have any money" I said.
She smiled and said "No worries about that!"
I knew that smile. She knew how to do anything with a computer, including getting free pizza.
"Crispy bacon deluxe... large!" I said, smiling
"Coming right up!" she said putting in a few numbers.
We went up to a heavy door with an electronic lock.
"Let's eat it in this hotel" she said, putting in a few more numbers. The door opened right up for us.
We went into our room which was super comfy. We relaxed for a while until the pizza arrived.
It was darn good pizza. We spent the night in the hotel and did some stuff around the city we weren't normally able to do.
The next day we went home from the city, using my girlfriend's tablet computer to access the bus fare system.
