I visited a seaside town with my family, though I wasn't much for sun, sand and sea. The girl who was assigned to help us with luggage greeted us in a very friendly manner. She took one look at me and said "Is this your son? I... I LOVE him..."
I was taken aback at her sudden comment and my pale face blushed a deep red under my sun hat. She looked at me with a bold beautiful smile on her tanned face. "Maybe you can teach him about getting a tan" my mother said, not rushing to my defence at all. It was a weird situation.
She chatted the whole way to our room. By the time we got there we heard about her life story and I had her phone number, a promise to teach me about tanning and swimming, and a date to meet with her later on. My mother told me I should do everything the girl told me to do. I asked my dad what was going on and he said "It's just the beginning, son" with a smile.
I went to the meeting place. I still couldn't believe what just happened was real, so I brought my book to keep me company.
"Hi!" a friendly voice greeted me and I looked up. It was her, dressed out of uniform and actually here to see me. This beautiful girl was here to take me out on a date.
"Come on! I'll show you around!" she said and took my hand. She showed me everything about the beach, about life and about love. She sent me gushing love letters when I eventually had to leave for home. I wrote back, learning about the language of love she taught me. We would reunite within weeks and continued our journey of love together.
